Magic Valley

7/1/2020

IPA

6.6% ABV

Mosaic notes of tropical fruit and citrus are amplified to 10 and meld perfectly with the hints of honeydew melon and Sprite we are getting from this year of Bru-1 hops. For 6.6% this one has loads of body but is still really light on malt character and sweetness making it into a fruit salad-like smoothie.

Summer Lager

4.6% ABV

A Baja inspired Lager taking a classic Mexican Lager grain bill and brewing it with a small wallop of Motueka hops and a light dry hopping of Motueka and a pinch of Sabro hops. These hops litter this super crisp and crushable Lager with notes of lime-blossom, coconut, and oak.

Hugo

French Table Beer/Saison

4.6% ABV

All French malts, yeast, and hops. A blend of French Pilsner, Munich, and Special Aromatic malts give Hugo a nice bready malt character that makes this beer as enjoyable as belly rubs on a Sunday morning. In this updated version we decided to swap in Barbe Rouge hops from the Alsace region of France that provide a super unique and delicate profile of red currants, honeysuckle, and citrus blossoms.

Losers' Club Vol. VI

6/24/2020

DIPA

9% ABV

This high ABV hop monster finishes drier than our typical Double IPA but you wouldn't know from the lovely body from that higher alcohol. This lays a perfect bed for what is a megaphone of new-world hop flavors consisting of blueberries, honeydew, passionfruit, mango, and sweet ruby red grapefruit.

Pulp

6/24/2020

IPA

6.9% ABV

PULP is what happens when we take our Pulp Free Westcoast IPA, drop the bittering additions and package it without any fining agents, leaving it turbid and creamy. Using a slightly more fruit-focused yeast strain this IPA kicks-off complimentary yeast esters of over-ripe peaches falling from the tree that pair perfectly with its hops. While none of our beers are ever filtered, PULP exemplifies this with the appearance of an opaque monster that adds a nice juicy mouthfeel to the beer, making it stick to the palate in an aggressive nature. The abundance of Citra hops create an aromatic bombardment that smells like a Sunday drive through a citrus orchard in peak of season; with notes of fresh orange, yellow grapefruit, and juicy sweet mango trekking from the first sniff to the last sip. PULP delivers just what we want, pure juicy hop deliciousness in its most natural of forms.

Endless Visions

6/17/2020

American Pilsner

With the beginning of summer arriving, Pilsner season is upon us and Endless Visions is the American Pilsner we've been waiting for. While some dry-hopped lagers can be overwhelmingly hoppy, we decided to add a pinch of restraint and balance to give this Pilsner a beautiful aroma of pomelo, berries, lemon zest, and blooming flower blossoms. The perfect amount of bitterness paired with a crisp dry finish of crackery American grown barley makes Endless Visions an excellent beer for showcasing new-school hops in a Pilsner form factor.

Banter Lord

6/17/2020

DIPA

Long in body and short in bitterness, Banter Lord is the perfect balance of northern hemisphere citrus and southern hemisphere sticky overripe topical fruits. With very little bitterness to speak of and a balanced but full mouthfeel this Double IPA may already be one of our favorites and should probably be making the starting line-up moving forward.

California Sky

6/17/2020

Westcoast IPA

7% ABV

While quite a bit different from the Mickey’s grenades that usually filled our coolers this batch is just as citrusy as previously but with an even more intense aroma and hoppy resinous mouthfeel that reminds us a lot of our favorite IPA(s) to come out of San Diego.

Juice Crusher

6/17/2020

DIPA

9% ABV

We built this moderately over sized double dry-hopped Double IPA with two of our favorite hops to brew with every year, El Dorado and Blanc. Two hops that are equally juicy but on opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, when paired atop a light and fluffy grainbill create a complex flavor profile soaked in notes of papaya, yuzu, chenin blanc grapes, and a good ol' fashioned citrus punch from one of them cardboard freezer tube thingies.

Faded Lanterns

6/17/2020

IPA

8.7% ABV

In true Enigma hop fashion we have tried this beer multiple times and it is different each time. This hop seemingly continues to morph back and forth between fresh squeezed and bright tangerine and lime juice notes to overly ripe and sticky notes of papaya, mango, and orangewine. While hard to lasso-in, Enigma still proves to be one of our favorite hops with an intensity in its finish that lingers from sip to sip and plays perfectly with the lime zest and citrus nature of this crop year's Motueka.

Dreaming In Neon

6/11/2020

IPA

6.7% ABV

Exciting, new, and steeped in the tropics Dreaming In Neon is a laser beam of East Asian flavors with fresh squeezed notes of passionfruit, yuzu, kumquat and papaya. Delicate notes of lemongrass and floral citrus round out this IPA that balances juiciness with drinkability perfectly while showcasing a couple of our favorite new hops.

Pirate Smiles

6/11/2020

Kettle Sour

6% ABV

Not sure the last time we were this excited with how a kettle sour came out. Pirate Smiles was brewed with Rio Red grapefruit, tart red cherries, limes, coconut, and lemongrass; and if that sounds like too many things you'd be wrong. All these flavors land perfectly in balance with each-other with the grapefruit starting things off and melding into a devious mid-palate of tart cherries, coconut, and limes that mix on the tastebuds like a well shaken cocktail until it finishes with a nice sweeping profile of bright and herbaceous lemongrass. With an extremely dry finish and more acidity than sweetness Pirate Smiles is the perfect beer for us to celebrate this much needed break in the clouds.
