The original Bay Area beer town, San Francisco and its craft beer scene is steeped in tradition, authenticity, and flat-out fun. Its award-winning breweries not only ushered in the golden age of craft beer and continue innovating, but to this day offer locals and tourists alike welcoming places brimming with conviviality and remarkably good beer.
Year round, DrinkBay.Beer/SF showcases happenings and highlights, and San Francisco Brewer Weekend is way to highlight this fact while tipping a hat to the amazing craft breweries calling San Francisco home.
This long weekend not only spotlights community and collaboration across the city, but is part of an exciting month of craft fun, from Oktoberfest to Halloween. It also heralds the return of Brews on the Bay the following Saturday, Oct. 22 — an utterly unique, utterly amazing fest aboard the WWII-era S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien. If you miss trying releases during Brewer Weekend, Brews on the Bay will likely be a great place catch up, all while enjoying the stunning views of the SF Bay.
