San Francisco Beckons!
The Bay Area's Next Brewer Weekend Lands October 14-16!
The original Bay Area beer town, San Francisco and its craft beer scene is steeped in tradition, authenticity, and flat-out fun. Its award-winning breweries not only ushered in the golden age of craft beer and continue innovating, but to this day offer locals and tourists alike welcoming places brimming with conviviality and remarkably good beer.
Year round, DrinkBay.Beer/SF showcases San Francisco happenings and highlights, but SF Brewer Weekend this October is going to be something special.
This long weekend of taproom events and special releases will spotlight community and collaboration in a new, tasty way. It's the start of an exciting stretch of craft fun in October, as it also heralds the return of Brews on the Bay the following Saturday — an utterly unique, utterly amazing fest aboard the WWII-era S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien featuring special release from local craft brewers with stunning views of the SF Bay. Brews on the Bay is a one-of-a-kind event, but a critical fundraiser to help the O'Brien recover from two hardships: 1) the multi-year economic hit it took due to lost tourism during the pandemic; and 2) surviving the massive Pier 45 fire in 2020, one that turned the huge pier building alongside it to ashes. Purchasing tickets to Brews on the Bay will help the O'Brien rebound and keep it docked where it belongs — right here in San Francisco.
Meanwhile, check back for initial SF Brewer Weekend listings late Sept. — and don't miss all the current events going on RIGHT NOW in this great beer city!
