Alpha Acid Brewing Company was founded in fall of 2014 in Belmont, CA. We premiered our beer at the 2015 SF Beer Week Opening Gala and now distribute all around the SF Bay Area. Alpha Acid is owned & operated by local brewer & craft beer bar owner, Kyle Bozicevic. Our goal is to bring you quality local beer, one small batch at a time. We brew a myriad of unique beers; experimenting with ingredients every chance we get. We have a primary focus on dry, aromatic IPAs, Adjunct Stouts, Fruited Sour Ales & Barrel-Aged Wild Ales that are sure to satisfy any beer enthusiasts palate.

Port BA Wild Ale

This beer was aged two and a half years in Port wine barrels that are larger therefore having less surface area touching the beer. This allows for a very slow gentle incorporation of flavors from the wood. They are also sealed on the outside which allows less oxygen to permeate into the barrel. The result is a beer with similar depth of an unblended Belgian lambic but with our own Belmont twist!
