Barebottle-Santa Clara

Barebottle - Santa Clara

Barebottle Brewing Company was co-founded by Lester Koga, Michael Seitz, and Ben Sterling, three friends and former classmates at Cornell Business School in Ithaca, NY. After moving from Ithaca to the Bay Area in 2007, the three began homebrewing, became certified beer judges, and began winning medals at homebrewing competitions. Barebottle brews innovative beers inspired by the San Francisco Bay Area using local ingredients wherever possible, and partners with local homebrewing groups to develop new beers using a competitive method.

The Unsinkable Tartanic

Sour
Our fruited sours are an exercise in balance. ⚖️ We create a sour base and then add fruit, each of which affects the beers differently. In the case of The Unsinkable Tartanic, Passionfruit and Black Currants, add intense flavor and acidity. The vanilla was always there to balance the beer but it never cut the acidity too much. The beer is deliciously smooth while being perfectly balanced between sweet, sour, and creamy vanilla. With flavor like this, I’d go down with the ship too

Pool Haus

German Pilsner
If you’re hitting the pool, river, beach.... basically any body of water this weekend, you’re gonna need a fresh pack of Pool Haus German Pilsner. One of our more nuanced and layered lagers. The Lallemand NOVA Lager yeast really helps accentuate the body and malt character of the lagers made with it. Definitely enjoyable poolside but also can be enjoyed in the pool house afterward when in search of something more complex. Just don’t forget to apply the SPF 50

Royale with Nelson

Hazy IPA
They speak Nelson in what? What? Describe what Nelson tastes like. It’s hazy. Continue. It’s tropical and white wine-like. Go on. It’s juicy.

Oranges in the Outfield

Hazy IPA
Springtime, a crack of the bat, hazy juicy goodness knocks it out of the park. Blended with sweet oranges and zest.

Lean Mean

Tangerine
This sour is a crowd-pleaser! Tangerine combines with passionfruit and vanilla to make it taste like a refreshing summer creamsicle melted into a cocktail glass. It isn’t too tart but it is extremely bright! This has something for everyone

Grizzly

Spiked Energy Drink
So what can one expect from a drink like this? Think if you multiplied a 4-loko by a 4-loko, this would be the outcome....16-loko. This drink will get you where you’re going and then some. Fruited with pineapple & coconut to really bring out those tropical notes.

Juicy Couture

DDH Hazy IPA
Fresh citrus and stonefruit light up your senses, while the smoothness of a elour tracksuit covers your tongue and disappears. Two dry hop additions featuring the inimitable Citra hop.⠀

Irish Coffee-inspired Nitro Stout
This Irish Coffee-inspired Nitro Stout is the creation of our resident Scotsman, Craig MacLellan (now people are going to get him confused for an Irishman even more) Remember this can is nitro, so be sure to flip the can completely upside down when pouring to get all of that creamy nitro goodness
