Our name is inspired by the Oast Houses, which are predominantly found in the East Kent hop-growing region in England. These structures were used to dry hops immediately after harvest to aide in the preservation process.

How do brewers smoke beers? A: From the malt which has been smoked by the maltser, typically over a beechwood fire. The smokiness in our Lager Fire Smoked Mrzen was derived from using 97% of Weyermann Beechwood Smoked Malt in the mash.
